In addition to asana (posture)
instruction, this class is infused with yoga philosophy, brief meditation and
pranayama (breathing) practice. Compassionate and skilled teachers emphasize
proper body alignment and awareness, and use of breath for integration and
release. Sustained postures promote strength, flexibility and the
ability of the body to recover from day-to-day stresses. Classes are tailored to meet the needs of the individual
student for that day. Appropriate for all.
