Yin & Meditation Yoga
Inspired by gentleness, precision and letting go, this practice is designed to bypass the muscular tissue and target the connective tissues such as the ligaments, bones and joints. The yin style of long-held passive poses opens the body over sustained periods of time, encouraging softness and deep internal release and allowing chi to flow through the subtle channels while also promoting a more contemplative, non-reactive quality of mind.
Perfect for athletes, office dwellers or anyone who needs to open the body, increase flexibility and still the mind from distraction. The meditation portion of class will be Vipassana, a practice that allows seeing things as they really are.
