A yogi in full lotus pose chanting Om? If thatandamp;rsquo;s your image, think again. Meditation is an attainable and simple practice meant to liberate anyone from chattering thoughts, stress, and negativity. Meditation regulates the breath, reduces blood pressure, and activates the parasympathetic nervous system (our off switch). Weandamp;rsquo;re calmer, more aware and more likely to think before acting or speaking.
