Quick Answers About Blue Anjou

Are you a joke?

No. Why would you think that? We just like to have fun.

Where are you?

We are everywhere. No, seriously, 135 West Main in Lewisville just about 1 mile East of I-35E. We are accessible only by horse. Ha ha.

What's your slogan mean?

Like, I dunno man, what's your slogan mean. You can read about our Feel Good Twiciness here. Or is that twicyness?

How big are your classes?

They vary by day and class type. Our philosophy is that more than 15 in a yoga/Pilates class is too many for a teacher to give proper care/adjustment. Dance classes tend to need more space, so you'll find them even less populated. Workshops are occasionally larger depending on the event.

What kinds of classes are offered?

We offer a variety of classes from gentle yoga to belly dance to Fuse. All our regular classes are included at any membership level.

Do you offer heated yoga?

We keep the yoga classes around 82-85 degrees so the room is warm, but not heated as it is in Bikram or Hot Yoga.

Where do you fall in the spectrum of hard/easy classes?

Given our variety, it's a hard question to answer. Some people think bellydance is damn near impossible the first time they try it, but that's just because they've never done it before.

In general, we tend to fall on the gentler side of yoga/dance equilibrium. We offer a few challenging classes, but none that will kill you. It is cliché, but we do believe in safety first.

What's the atmosphere like?

We are a very laid back place and tend to attract like personalities. If you like the humor sprinkled throughout the website, you'll like us. We are not hard-core fitness oriented or corporate.

Do you offer teacher training?

Yes. We have 200-hour, 500-hour and our Breathe Into Recovery programs available.

Do you really want feedback?

Yes, please give it. About products, classes, teachers, ambience, your cool pencil trick at work ... whatever. We'll do with it what we can.

What is up with your stupid name?

My name is Dirk. Nice to meet you. Oh, you mean the company name ... well, there's no significance to it really. It just came to me out of the blue.

Do those pears on your website have eyes & ears? Are they real? Why are they there? Why aren't they blue?

Yes. Yes. They're cool. Because they match the decor better in ochre. Any more questions, geez.
