Sustainability
No, seriously, what we mean is we're trying our best to help sustain our habitat, environment ... the big blue ball as it were. And the only way to do that is through you. We find opportunities to take your contributions (redeemed for products & services) and feed them back into environmental and humanitarian efforts.

Our Committment
We are committed to building out our Studio and Eco-boutique using earth-friendly techniques. Some of the techniques we're using to ensure environmental friendliness are:
- We are located in an original building (not new construction) and are repurposing it.
- We dry-ground the original concrete in our storefront to limit our use of non-sustainable woods or introduce potentially volatile substances like stains and adhesives.
- We use a GreenGuard certified low VOC (volatile organic compounds) floating studio floor manufactured from 65% post-consumer recycled material.
- We use low-voltage and dimable lighting fixtures.
- We use recycled and repurposed shelving and furniture in our storefront.
- We employ organic, no-VOC paints on wall surfaces.
- We are striving to use local Texas suppliers to avoid transportation fuel consumption and CO2s.
In our Eco-Boutique (both retail and online), we are working with vendors who produce goods manufacturered from sustainable and renewable materials (like bamboo, hemp, recycled papers, etc.) We also carry goods from companies who support Fair Trade practices. When you purchase an item from Blue Anjou you can feel confident it supports sustainable living. Feel Good Twice!
