Join us for this special 2-hour class. Jan will lead you through Restorative Yoga poses that work to reverse the effects of stress on the body and the mind, followed by the practice of Yoga Nidra.  Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that invokes a deep conscious sleep-state. You’ll leave this workshop feeling relaxed, refreshed and recharged.

Restorative Yoga is nurturing and gentle practice using pillows and props, it is beneficial to students with special health needs, those in caretaking positions and those seeking a calming and renewing adaptation of classic Hatha Yoga poses. Expect a gentle, deliberately-paced Hatha Yoga practice followed by a Restorative portion, where extended time is spent in several passive postures meant relax and heal the body of the stresses it endures in everyday life.
